    I made this snack for Diwali but didn't get the Namak pare as it is called in Hindi is lightly seasoned with spices like ajwain [carom seeds] and. Namak para (or namakpare), also nimki or nimkin (or namkin) is a crunchy savoury snack eaten in the Indian Subcontinent.     Steps to make Namak Pare:

    1. Take flour, salt and carom seeds in a bowl. Add ghee and mix like bread crumbs. Sprinkle water and make firm yet smooth dough. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
    2. Make 2-3 portions and roll into a circle.Cut in rectangle or diamond shapes.
    3. Heat a wok with oil for deep fry. When hot lower the flame and add drop the pieces into hot oil. Fry on low flame until crisp.
    4. Take it out and serve with your Tea or Coffee. You can also add extra spice powders or salt if preferred.
