    Instructions to make Chole Masala:

    1. In a pressure cooker, add channa, salt and water. Cover and cook for 10 whistles.
    2. In a kadai, add oil, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Fry it.
    3. Add onions and green chillies. Saute till onions becomes translucent.
    4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 mins.
    5. Add tomato puree, sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder and chanamasala. Mix well.
    6. Add little water. Cover and cook for 10 mins in medium flame.
    7. Add the cooked channa with that water. Mix well. Check for salt. Cover and cook for 10 mins.
    8. Garnish with coriander leaves. Transfer to a bowl.
    9. Now it's ready to serve with Bhatura.
