    Today's curry recipe is one of the delicious and simple dish made of snake gourd / pudalangai. Snake gourd is a tasty & low calorie vegetable which is very rich in. We always make snake gourd curry in the same way we make beans curry. Also we make snake gourd kootu too.


    Instructions

    Steps to make Snakegaurd curry:

    1. Clean the white skin of Snakegaurd by scraping it with knife and wash it.cut into medium sized pieces and keep aside.
    2. Heat a pan,put 2 spoons oil,when it is heated add chopped onions fry for few seconds,add ginger and garlic fry few seconds,add chopped tomatoes fry till raw smell vanishes,now add grated coconut and coriander leaves switch off the stove,now add coriander powder and chilli powder to your taste and stir the mixture.let it cool.
    3. Now grind the mixture by adding little water and keep aside.
    4. To the same pan add Snakegaurd pieces and dry fry.it will leave water,fry till water content evaporates.
    5. Take a vessel are pan,heat it,add 2 spoons oil,when the oil get heated add mustard seeds,when it splitters add curry leaves and chopped onions,fry it few minutes,add washed chanadal (optional) now add grinded mixture and water as required.add salt to taste and Snakegaurd pieces.boil 10 -15 minutes.now the healthy curry is ready to serve with rice,poori,parata,chapati,roti,idly etc.
