    Steps to make Chole Chawal:

    1. Wash and Soak chhole in water for 4 hours.
    2. Now transfer chhole in pressure cooker and add salt and pressure cook till 7-8 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.
    3. Peel wash and Chop onion ginger and garlic and grate tomatoes and make puree.
    4. Now take a wok. Add cooking oil and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped garlic and saute for 30 seconds on low flame. Add grated ginger and saute for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion and cook till translucent. Add tomato puree and cook till oil leaves the karahi. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and chana masala and mix well
    5. Now add this prepared masala Tadka in chhole pressure cooker and mix well and place the lid and pressure cook till three whistles. Switch off the flame. Let pressure releases automatically. Open the lid and add chopped coriander leaves.
    6. Now wash and Soak rice for 15 minutes.
    7. Now put it in a karahi and add 2 bowls of water and salt and cook till water gets dry or is absorbed by rice.
    8. Now Serve hot rice with chhole and salad.
