    1. Wash and soak chole overnight.Morning drain the water and wash it again and add water and pressure cook it till 5-6 whistles.
    2. Make a puree of tomatoes and keep aside.
    3. Make a puree of onions, ginger and garlic and keep aisde.
    4. Ina kadai take 2 tbsp ghee and add jeera and ajwain and as it crackles add onion ginger garlic paste and saute till nice golden in colour.
    5. Add Kashmiri chilli powder and then the tomato puree and all masalas and cook till oil floats. Add chopped potato and little water and cook till potato is soft.
    6. Add chopped coriander and boiled chole and salt to taste and boil for 10 mins.
    7. Take another pan and add 2 tbsp ghee and as it melts pour it over cooked chole. Serve hot with chapati or puri.
