    2. Prepare 250 gm chickpea (chole)
    3. Take 2 tbsp. Tea leaves

    Pudina Lehsun Laccha Paratha is a wonderful twist to the classic Laccha paratha recipe where the flour is combined along with fresh mint leaves chopped garlic and green chillies adding to the the twist of taste. Pindi Chole or Rawal Pindi Chana is a dry dish in which kabuli chana is cooked with tea leaves (tea leaves give the chole the dark color) and flavored with freshly ground spices. It is named Pindi Chana after Rawalpindi the town where it originated. Lachha paratha is an easy paratha to make.


    Instructions

    Instructions to make Pindi chole with laccha paratha:

    1. Soak chickpea overnight or 7-8 hours. Take a cooker put soaked chickpea add salt to taste, baking soda 1tsp oil and take a muslin cloth place tea leaves, black and green cardamom, bay leaves, clove, cinnamon stick and make a potli from it and place it in cooker, add water as required and let it cook until 4-5 whistles.
    2. Now make a tomato puree:- Take a mixture pot add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, green chillies.
    3. For tempering:- Take a pan heat up oil add cumin seeds, then add chopped onions and saute till it is golden brown add all the spices then add tomato puree and let it cook until it leaves oil from the sides add boiled chole, salt AND water as required and cover it and cook it for few minutes.
    4. Serve hot with laccha paratha.
